In mijn nieuwe tekeningen leg ik verstilde momenten vast in de natuur (en in mijn hoofd). Ik gebruik soft pastel, collage, potlood en acrylverf om landschappen een zachte uitstraling te geven.
De kleuren roepen een gevoel van rust op, waarbij groen soms doet denken aan de polder en een dijk (of het bos), terwijl andere tinten verwijzen naar de zon en de lucht. In de donkere nacht seinen lichtmasten en vuurtorens naar elkaar. De overgang van water naar nacht vervaagd in het diepe blauw.

IIn my new drawings, I capture tranquil moments in nature (and in my mind). I use soft pastels, collage, pencil, and acrylic paint to give landscapes a soft appearance.
The colors evoke a sense of tranquility, with green sometimes reminiscent of the polder and a dike (or the forest), while other shades allude to the sun and the sky.
In the dark night, a radio tower and lighthouses communicate with each other. The transition from water to night fades into the deep blue.
